2023 Legislative Day in Austin

Leadership Southwest in collaboration with the Best Southwest Partnership invite you to participate in legislative efforts. We are excited to represent 10 cities, many chambers, school districts, businesses, entities and leaders that have a mission to be a thriving region for future generations. The information and education provided to the legislators will be critical to the decisions they make on policy that affects our region.

MISSION:

• Provide members of the Texas Legislature with info needed to make the best decisions for their constituents
• Educate and involve business leaders, emerging leaders and citizens regarding the priorities that affect our area

Advocate Sponsor $1,000

Premier seating for two on bus and at luncheon, breakfast and lunch for two, invitation to Legislative Reception, company logo on materials including program, public policy guide, sponsor board, event promotional material and website.

Supporter Sponsor $750

Reserved seating for one on bus and at luncheon, breakfast and lunch for one, invitation to Legislative Reception, company name on materials including program, public policy guide, sponsor board, event promotional material and website.

LSW members of the classes of 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 are invited to attend at no additional cost.

In an effort to have ensure every attendee gets the most out of their visit to the Capitol, we have two tracks to choose from.

The Rookie Track is designed for those that have little to no knowledge of the capitol and it's history. This group will leave after lunch, around 1:45 for a guided tour of the Capitol and then we will meet up with the group for the Legislative Reception between 3:30-4PM.

The Advanced Track is designed for those seasoned legislative minded guests. This group will spend the afternoon hearing from guest speakers and/or legislators on "hot" legislative issues.
